Today we are continuing our work on the balancing portion in our Bikram inspired Express Series. There are ways to break the posture down, you want to make the practice as enjoyable as possible. In the first set we do a modification, using arm strength instead of leverage. Try not to lean back, remembering to keep the upper body in alignment over the hips and the legs. In this modification we interlace the fingers right below the knee, drawing the shoulders back so they are right over the hips. We always offer modifications for beginners who are new to our classes. This pose can help to build strength, balance and concentration. Draw your navel to the spine to engage the core which will help with stability.  Thanks for watching!
